Tonight, 9th October, we’ll be serving up delicious Mexican treats at the opening of the Terry Frost exhibition, curated by Tate St Ives, at the Newlyn Gallery. We’ll be serving homemade empanadas, mollettes (mexican toasts), spicy drunked bean stew and a selection of cakes. The fun starts at 7 with a free shuttle bus running between the Newlyn gallery and the the Exchange where the fun will carry on until late. Come and see us!
A change of scenery – and very beautiful it is too – for us this Sunday 6th September as we’ve been invited to the Botallack Country Fair. The festivities take place at the Count House, the former office of the Crowns Mine, perched on the spectacular cliffs of Botallack, overlooking the old engine houses and Atlantic beyond.
Visitors can enjoy activities and exhibits such as blacksmithing, vintage vehicles and craft activities, as well as music, food and a raffle. The marine theme for this year’s fair will particularly focus on the 50th anniversary of the launch of Enterprise Neptune, a project designed to save coastline for future generations.
We’ll be serving up hot and cold drinks, homemade savoury treats and a selection of cakes. Hope to see you!
The fun starts at 12 o’clock. Free admission for children, £2 for adults.
After an amazing 7 weeks at the Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens cafe and a short break in Berlin (awesome city!) we were back on the Prom this Easter weekend. And the sun shone! The new railings are going up and the Prom is starting to look it’s beautiful self again. We now plan to be in our normal spot Friday, Saturday and Sunday, weather and Prom repairs permitting
We are very excited to announce that we will be moving into the beautiful cafe space at Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens for a seven week pop-up.
Miki and Justin of The Lime Tree Cafe have decided to move on to new ventures and we are honoured to have been invited to fill their (rather large!) shoes until a permanent replacement is found.
We’re looking forward to our sojourn at Tremenheere where you can expect the same delicious homemade goodies and warm welcome, in slightly more sheltered conditions! (but still with incredible views). We’ll also be offering an all-day brunch menu on Sundays.
Come and bag a seat by the woodburner and enjoy some hearty fare, or soak up some winter sunshine on the terrace with stunning views over to St Michael’s Mount.
We open on 6th Feb so come and say hello!http://www.tremenheere.co.uk/
